Gruppo IAR is acting since 1972 mainly in the restoration and conservation of historic buildings.
Our Company is active in implementation of structural recoveries, both static and anti-seismic, restoration of buildings, both modern and historical identified as "cultural heritage".
In Europe, investments in the recovery of existing buildings is exceeding the investments in new construction, also in light of a lower occupation of green space.
In the cultural heritage sector, whose knowledge path is not yet completed, research and experience are of fundamental importance, as demonstrated by the interventions described below and their testing. All intervention are carried out according to the conservation principle.
Gruppo IAR strength is based on highly qualified personnel, both for designing and for carrying out the consolidation interventions, and tested proprietary materials.
To make public its experiences, Gruppo IAR organizes congresses on the seismic recovery of historical buildings.
Our reputation is based on important successful works as illustrated below, among which stand out: the restoration of the Crypt of the Patriarchal Basilica of San Marco in Venice, the consolidation of the vaults damaged by the 1997 earthquake of the Upper Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi, the complete restoration of the San Feliciano di Foligno for the Jubilee of year 2000 and the anti-seismic consolidation of XV century Palazzo Dragonetti Cappelli in L'Aquila .
Gruppo IAR is qualified to participate to public works tenders for restoration and maintenance of historical buildings.
